Binarne opozycje безпека/небезпека i bezpieczeństwo/niebezpieczeństwo w języku ukraińskim i polskim: korpusowa analiza kontrastywna

The study discusses the binary oppositions security- insecurity across the Polish and Ukrainian web corpora, outlining their allomorphic and isomorphic features. The frequency of grammatical or syntactic constructions appears to be motivated by their productivity/non- productivity during language reproduction. A contrastive study of the binary oppositions security-insecurity confirms the claim that the frequency of lexemes is directly related to the ease/complexity of their perception, the choice of synonymous words across different contexts and various discourses. Their distribution is determined by the categorization mechanisms in the compared languages, specific reflection of the reality by both nations, and their relevance to the Ukrainian and Polish community.
