Assessment of the axle loads on the semi-trailer: case study

This study examines the load distribution and its effect on axle loads in a semitrailer transporting palletized goods. Two measurement methods were employed: onboard axle load indicators and portable weighing scales, with results validated using the Truck-Stow software for load modeling and analysis. The objective was to assess axle load distribution under static conditions to ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimize vehicle performance. The findings confirmed that all axle loads remained within the allowable limits, maintaining vehicle stability and legal compliance. The comparison between the measured values and software-generated results demonstrated a high degree of accuracy in assessing load distribution, highlighting the effectiveness of combining direct measurements with advanced load modeling tools.
