Investigating the youth physical activity promotion model among Chinese middle school students
The study validates the YPAP model in the context of Chinese middle school students, highlighting the importance of parental support and physical education in promoting physical activity. Parents and schools should focus on enhancing adolescents' self-concept of ability and value perception to foster long-term engagement in physical activities. These findings provide valuable insights for designing targeted interventions to address the global issue of insufficient physical activity among adolescents.
