Reduced miR‐212‐3p is a novel indicator of estimating disease activity in pediatric Crohn's disease
What is Known Endoscopy which plays a key role in the assessment of Crohn's disease (CD) is invasive, costly, and burdensome to patients. C‐reactive protein and fecal calprotectin play an important role in the diagnosis and evaluation of CD disease activity, but not specific to CD and are elevated in other diseases. What is New There are few studies on the use of microribonucleic acids to evaluate the severity and disease activity of pediatric CD. MiR‐212‐3p could be a novel biomarker to assess disease activity of pediatric CD.
