SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF AgLaFeO₃ PEROVSKITE VIA A SIMPLE SOL-GEL METHOD AND INVESTIGATION OF ITS MAGNETIC PROPERTIES
In this study, silver-doped LaFeO₃ (AgLaFeO3) perovskite was genuinely synthesized by a paleoconservative sol-gel method. The results confirmed the blending of silver-doped LaFeO₃ perovskite with an orthorhombic structure, crystallizing in the Pnma space group. The Kubelka-Munk analysis demonstrated that Ag⁺ doping effectively condensed the band-gap energy of LaFeO₃ to 2.37 eV. Furthermore, magnetic studies at room temperature revealed that the AgLaFeO₃ perovskite exhibits superparamagnetic behavior, characterized by the absence of magnetization remnant and high saturation levels. Due to these properties, AgLaFeO₃ superparamagnetic materials hold significant potential for applications in the medical field.
