REMOVING A CHILD FROM THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM

The article is devoted to the analysis of the institution of removing a child from the criminal justice system in the Kyrgyz Republic, which is an important element of the humanization of criminal justice. The authors consider the legal basis of this institution, its compliance with international standards, such as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Beijing Rules, as well as the practice of its application. Particular attention is paid to alternative measures of influence aimed at the rehabilitation and resocialization of children of offenders, which helps to minimize stigmatization and prevent their further criminalization.
