2-Pyridone-enabled manganese-catalyzed <i>ortho</i>-selective deuteration of aromatic amides with D2O
A manganese-catalyzed protocol for the ortho -selective deuteration of aromatic amides has been developed, featuring Mn(CO) 5 Br as the catalyst, 2-pyridone-assisted C–H activation, and D 2 O as the deuterium source.
