The influence of the systematic structuring of the network of public passenger transport lines on the quality of transport service

The proposal for the comprehensive integration of public passenger transport answers questions related to the current requirements of modern society and the environmental aspect of transport. From a global perspective, it is the key to solving transport, economic, energy and environmental problems caused by transport. At the same time, it is an essential tool for sustainability in these areas and public passenger transport. Transport, economic, energy and environmental sustainability are required precisely because each is equally important, and the failure of one negatively affects all the others. The presented research aimed to determine the results of the case study realised in the condition of the Slovak Republic in terms of public passenger transport lines to increase the quality of transport services. This aim was realised by the systematic structuring of the network of public passenger lines based on spatial analysis and polygon methodology.
