Lymphocyte Subsets in Covid-19 Saudi Patients: Infection Caused Significant Reduction in Peripheral Blood Lymphocyte Subset
Our results showed similar changes as in a previous meta-analysis study including the disease severity and lymphocyte subset counts in patients hospitalized with Covid-19 and could be used as prognostic strategy to predict the outcome and severity of Covid-19 disease. To better understand and explain this reduction, further analysis of other factors, such as IL-4, lymph tissues structure, and N protein-specific antibody, is needed.
