Di‐ and Triferrocenylpnictogen Chlorides
The oxidation of Fc 3 E (E = P, As) with sulfuryl chloride afforded the [Fc 3 ECl][FeCl 4 ] salts, while for Fc 3 Sb, it resulted in the formation of the dichloride Fc 3 SbCl 2 and the mixed‐valent tetrachloroantimonate Fc 2 SbCl 4 as a side product. Fc 3 BiCl 2 could be obtained after the reaction of Fc 3 Bi with PCl 5 . The diferrocenylpnictogen chlorides Fc 2 ECl (E = Sb, Bi) are isolated from the ferrocenyl lithium via zincation and subsequent treatment with the corresponding trichlorides ECl 3 . The reaction of Fc 2 SbCl with sulfuryl chloride affords the mixed‐valent tetrachloroantimonate Fc 2 SbCl 4 as main product.
