APPLICATION OF INTELLECTUAL ANALYSIS METHODS TO EVALUATE DATA ON STUDENTS' PERCEPTION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION

The introduction of artificial intelligence in all aspects of life, especially in educational process, made a revolution the overall learning process. It allows students to use their abilities and energy more effectively in order to gain more knowledge in less time. It also helps teachers to present information to students with greater effectiveness. There are several programs and mobile applications such as ChatGPT that automatically perform half of the tasks assigned to students. Such applications adversely affect students’ ability to solve complex tasks. The use of such applications made educational organizations and even students worry about the future of education. The issue is as follows: «Will the traditional educational process remain so important»? This article analyzes the opinion of students' perception on the use of artificial intelligence in educational process and its impact on their academic performance. An available online dataset on students' perception on artificial intelligence was reviewed and various data mining methods were applied to evaluate it. This article also proposed a model for machine learning to learn students’ perception on artificial intelligence. This model was first trained on the available dataset, and then tested to predict students' opinion on the use of artificial intelligence in educational process. The results of the analysis are described in detail in the section of the article named «Discussion and results».
