Finite-Time Control for Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems with Input Dead Zones

An adaptive real finite-time tracking control scheme is proposed for a specific class of nonlinear systems characterized by input dead zones. This scheme is based on Lyapunov finitetime stability theory and the backstepping control algorithm, utilizing neural networks to approximate unknown nonlinear functions effectively. The designed protocols ensure that the system can achieve satisfactory tracking performance, with all signals in the closed-loop system being semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded. To validate the proposed control strategy, a simulation example is conducted, demonstrating its effectiveness.

Abstract

An adaptive real finite-time tracking control scheme is proposed for a specific class of nonlinear systems characterized by input dead zones. This scheme is based on Lyapunov finitetime stability theory and the backstepping control algorithm, utilizing neural networks to approximate unknown nonlinear functions effectively. The designed protocols ensure that the system can achieve satisfactory tracking performance, with all signals in the closed-loop system being semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded. To validate the proposed control strategy, a simulation example is conducted, demonstrating its effectiveness.
