Study of Fused-Tapered Microfiber Acoustic Emission Sensors
According to the acoustic emission principle of microfiber, the microfiber acoustic emission system is constructed, and the pencil lead breakage is used as the acoustic source to act on the microfiber sensors, and the collected broken lead signal is analyzed by data analysis. The experimental results show that the single-mode microfiber with the waist cone diameter of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$15.72\mu \mathrm{m}$</tex> has the largest detected energy in the pencil lead breakage experiments, and based on the above experimental results, the waist cone diameter of 15.72um microfiber is selected in the experiments, to explore the difference of received acoustic emission signal energy under different substrates, the results show that the aluminum substrate has the best performance in receiving acoustic emission signal energy in the acoustic emission experiment.
