A New Autonomous Control Level in the Power System

The Hungarian power system is over penetrated by PhotoVoltaic generation. The daily trade direction tend to change from import to export depending on the weather. Meanwhile the import and export should be decreased. A new autonomous control level is recommended for involving millions of the small household through Household Control Box. Based on latest real data the effect of three different control strategies are shown. By the rescheduling of the local usage and generation we reduced the load of the transmission system, the import/export. Meanwhile the share of the domestic use of PV production has increased. The autonomous control level help to cope with control of the more and more complex power system.
