Passive Three-Dimensional Detection Based on the Airy Light Field
Non-active illumination three-dimensional detection plays a critical role in fields such as industrial production, remote sensing, and autonomous driving. Here, we report a passive detection technique based on the Airy light field with a working distance of at least 90 meters and three-dimensional detection capability. For the designed post-modulation optical system, we propose a set of optical layout and modulation phase optimization scheme to improve the resolution. Based on the properties of the Airy beam and the optical system, we analyzed and simulated the resolution. In experiments, three LEDs located at about 10 meters and two outdoor road lamps at distances of 67 and 90 meters were detected and reconstructed their three-dimensional position distribution with the use of a tomography algorithm. A viable method for three-dimensional passive detection of distant targets is offered by this research.
