A ATUAÇÃO DA ENFERMAGEM NOS CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS DOMICILIARES A PACIENTES COM CÂNCER EM ESTÁGIO TERMINAL

This study aims to analyze the monitoring of terminal cancer patients in the context of palliative care in home care, emphasizing the role of the multidisciplinary team and the impact of this approach on the quality of life of patients and their caregivers. This is a qualitative, bibliographical study based on the analysis of scientific articles selected from academic repositories using the PRISMA method. The results show that home palliative care provides greater comfort to patients, takes care of hospital admissions and strengthens bonds. However, challenges such as caregiver overload and the need for professional training are still present. It is concluded that the expansion of public policies and strategies to support patients and their families is essential to ensure humanized and effective care in the home setting.
