Electrochemical selective incorporation of SO 2 to synthesize fused-ring framework compounds

This paper proposes a mild and effective electrochemical synthesis method. Through electrochemical oxidation and free radical cascade reactions, SO 2 undergoes selective insertion, generating two different families of fused-ring framework compounds.
