Experience of Forming Value Orientations of Schoolchildren Based on the Local History Principle of Teaching Geography

This article discusses the relevance of the use of the local history principle in teaching geography in modern educational practice. It emphasizes the importance of its gradual study in the framework of patriotic education, and also describes and analyzes the pedagogical experience in the implementation of the local history principle in geography lessons.
