FEATURES OF THE SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL STATE OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL STUDENTS IN BLENDED LEARNING CONDITIONS

The article researches specific aspects of the socio-psychological condition of students engaged in blended learning. Blended learning integrates traditional classroom instruction with online educational activities, offering students expanded possibilities for knowledge acquisition while simultaneously introducing unique socio-psychological challenges. The study emphasizes that blended learning environments can trigger stress and emotional exhaustion, particularly among first- and second-year students who have yet to fully adapt to higher education settings. Modifications in interpersonal interactions might negatively impact students' perception of social support and their sense of belonging within the academic community. The study analyzes the socio-psychological condition of students in their second, third, and fourth years at the Faculty of Psychology, Communications, and Translation at KAI, comparing data from the start and the conclusion of the even semester in 2024. The article aims to explore the socio-psychological characteristics of students majoring in humanities during blended learning, identify significant issues they encounter, and propose practical recommendations to enhance their emotional well-being and social adjustment. Quantitative analysis was utilized to interpret the collected data, whereas focus groups with students allowed an in-depth understanding of their emotional experiences and distinctive aspects of social interactions. The practical outcomes of the study include the identification of critical factors impacting students' socio-psychological condition in blended learning settings and emphasizing the necessity for enhanced support for lower-year students during the adaptation phase. Supportive measures include psychological counseling, implementing emotional self-regulation techniques, and structuring educational processes in alignment with the students' specific adaptation needs and perceptual characteristics.
