Abstract

The present day puts forward new requirements for pedagogical activity, identifies tasks of varying complexity that a teacher must solve, e.g.: organizing training in conditions of military operations, combining distance and face-to-face forms, introducing innovations, implementing pedagogical universal education, integrating children with special educational needs and providing them with educational services in a general secondary education institution. Increasing the effectiveness of inclusive education requires not only a high level of knowledge of the teacher, the presence of inclusive competence but also important professional and personal qualities with altruism based on recognizing an individual as the highest value. The article aims to reveal the functional and substantive components of the altruism of a modern inclusive classroom teacher. Research methods: comparative analysis of scientific, educational, and methodological sources, regulatory and legal framework, theoretical and empirical, generalization methods. The essence of the concept of «altruism» as a moral principle is based on a selfless desire to act for the benefit of others, readiness for self-denial, a system of value orientations, the main motive and criterion of moral assessment of which are the interests of another person or social community. The main characteristics and signs of altruistic activity of a teacher of an educational institution with inclusive education are highlighted. The cognitive, moral, personal, social, and other characteristic motives of the teacher that encourage selfless activity for the benefit of students with special educational needs are identified. Humanistic worldview, readiness for selfless action, awareness of the value of another person, and motivation lie at the basis of the altruism of an inclusive class teacher. The altruism of an inclusive class teacher develops humanistic consciousness, motivates selfless deeds and charity, supports all applicants without exception, implements the pedagogy of «non-violence», embodies in life universal human values and priorities, popularises an individual and role in the life of society.
