KUIBYSHEV OPERA AND BALLET THEATRE ON THE EVE AND DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR: CREATION AND FORMATION

The article examines the activities of the Kuibyshev Opera and Ballet Theater on the eve and during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, determines its role in the cultural life of the country during this period, analyzes the influence of military events on the repertoire of the theater, the place of the role of patriotic themes in theatrical productions. The complex processes of evacuation of theater groups, adaptation to new conditions are also considered, the uniqueness of the experience of the Kuibyshev Opera House and its contribution to art and public life during the war are revealed.
