Metacognitive and Socio-Emotional Skills: A Critical Need in Pakistani Schools' Curriculum: A Quantitative Study

Our study examines teaching methods for Pakistani students today and teachers' perspectives on educating students in thinking skills and emotional and social relationships. Our analysis shows teachers should unite mind power and social skills for their work since Pakistani schools apply these methods to help students grow. Three hundred teachers from several parts of Pakistan cooperated with this study. Posted teachers consider essential skills valuable, but they do not use them in their day-to-day lives. The instructional materials of 78% of participants need them to use metacognitive and social-emotional learning techniques intentionally. Our research explores combined influences on project results by examining how available resources handle differences between schools in cities and rural areas. Research demonstrates that teachers must learn new techniques to help students overcome challenges when public schools adjust their teaching standards soon. Teachers gain helpful teaching methods through training because these programs show them practical ways to teach students essential skills. Our research helps policymakers teach metacognitive and social-emotional methods to teachers who deliver improved academic and emotional growth for their students.
