Evaluation of the Training Course for Agricultural Engineers to Obtain a License to Practice Pesticide Trade

The main objective of this research was to evaluate the training program designed for agricultural engineers who wish to obtain or renew a license for operating pesticide trading businesses, which is conducted from April 20 to 25, 2023, at the Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University. The study included all agricultural engineers participating in the training program at the Faculty of Agriculture, totaling 36 trainees. Data was collected from all participants in two stages: the first before the training program started, and the second immediately after the program's completion, using two distinct questionnaires. Statistical methods such as percentage, arithmetic mean, frequency tables, Pearson's simple correlation coefficient, and t-test were used. Research Results:The research findings revealed that the arithmetic mean of the participants' knowledge level after completing the training program was higher than before the program. The impact of the training program was large according to Cohen's law.
