Study on the myocardial protection of exercise in diabetes rats based on SDF-1/CXCR4 signal pathway

To study the mechanism of cardioprotection of aerobic exercise on myocardial protection in type 2 diabetes rats based on SDF-1/CXCR4 signaling pathway. Thirty adult male DC rats were selected and randomly divided into three groups, normal control group (NC), diabetes control group (DC), and diabetes aerobic exercise group (ED). After successful modeling, aerobic exercise intervention was performed. During the experiment, the daily condition and the health rate was observed and analyzed. After the test is completed, ultrasound diagnostic equipment was used to detect the size of the left ventricle in diastole and end systolic diameter, the stroke volume of the left ventricle and other factors reflecting myocardial contraction function; the expression of SDF-1 and CXCR4 in myocardium was determined using RT-PCR method. The left ventricular ejection fraction, ISI, and expression levels of SDF-1 and CXCR4 in the DC group were significantly lower than those in the NC group ( p < .05), while blood glucose, serum FBG, and FINS were significantly increased ( p < .05). The left ventricular ejection fraction, ISI, and expression levels of SDF-1 and CXCR4 in myocardial tissue in the ED group were significantly increased ( p < .05) than those in the DC group, while blood glucose, serum FBG, and FINS were significantly lower ( p < .05). The cardioprotective effect of aerobic exercise on diabetes rats may be closely related to the increased expression of SDF-1 and CXCR4.
