STUDY OF THE PERFORMANCE OF PLANETARY REDUCTIONS WITH FINEMODULAR TOOTH CHAINS
Currently, top drive systems (TDS) consisting of a motor and a swivel-reducer that rotate the drill string are used to solve technological problems of drilling directional and horizontal wells. The main problems of ensuring strength when creating machines include: the occurrence of sudden failures of machine parts; ensuring a certain safety margin, since excessive strength increases the cost of the machine and increases its weight; insufficient durability, which increases operating costs; increased time and high material costs for fine-tuning newly created machines to improve their reliability. To a large extent, these problems are solved by using a steel material of a certain quality. If, as a result of theoretical and experimental studies, the loads acting on its units and parts have been determined with high accuracy, then the problems of ensuring reliability are solved both by using a certain steel material for the parts and by appropriate hardening technologies during their manufacture. The article presents the experience of developing and researching a fundamentally new type of planetary mechanisms with fine-module toothed chain flexible links. Keywords: reducer, planetary reducer, drive shaft, load, planetary mechanism, wave transmissions.
