Aspects on the Influence of Crop Technology on Alfalfa Production

Abstract Feed production in the context of environmental protection has a special role in sustainable agriculture. The constant monitoring of soil parameters and promotion of integrated fertilization in the farms from Dambovita county are efficiently from agro-productive and agro-ecological points of view. The alfalfa, often called by botanists “the parent of all plants”, is considered one of the most valuable fodder crops in the world, being nicknamed the “green feed of the millennium”. This name reflects not only its nutritional value, also reflects its significant contribution to the sustainability of agricultural systems. Through its regenerating capacity, improve soil structure and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers, the alfalfa has an essential contribution for an ecological and efficiently agriculture system. This study reflects aspects related to the influence of crop technology, especially soil fertilization, on the production of alfalfa in the agroecosystem of Nucet village, in Dambovita county.
