Influence of integrated nutrient management on performance of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
A two-year (2022-23 to 2023-24) field experimentation was carried out in Rabi season to determine the impact of various integrated sources of nutrient management on growth, yield, yield attributes, uptake of nutrients, crop productivity and sustaining soil health ofwheat crop in western U.P. The experiment was initiated at Agriculture research farm of J.V. College, Baraut (Baghpat) Uttar Pradesh. The experiment was carried out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications and ten integrated nutrient management treatments viz., T1-Control, T2-100% RDF (120:60:40 kg/ha), T3-100% RDF+ Azotobacter, T4-100% RDF + Azotobacter + Multi-nutrients, T5- 50% RDF + 50% N through SSNM (SPAD) + Azotobacter, T6-75% RDF + 25% N through SSNM (SPAD) + Azotobacter + Multi-nutrients, T7-75% RDF + 25% N through vermicompost + Azotobacter + Multi-nutrients,T8-75% RDF+25% N through FYM + Azotobacter + Multinutrients, T9-100%RDF + 25% N through vermicompost + Azotobacter and T10-100% RDF + 25% N through FYM +Azotobacter. Wheat variety DBW-187 (Karna Vandana) was grown during both the years (2022-23 and 2023-24) of experimental study. Application of integrated nutrient management had significant influence on yield of wheat during both the years of experimental study. Results revealed that significantly highest value of gross returns ( ha-1) was obtained in T9. In case of Net returns maximum value was obtained in T9 and was found to be statistically at par with T7. The highest B: C Ratio was recorded in T9 which was at par with T7.
