Commercial nutrient media for culturing obligate anaerobic representatives of gut microbiota
Representatives of the gut microbiota perform a number of important functions in the human body: they provide colonization resistance, stimulate the development of the immune system, participate in the synthesis of vitamins and other biologically active substances (for example, short-chain fatty acids), etc. The aim of the study is to substantiate the possibility of using commercial nutrient media to isolate obligate anaerobic representatives of the intestinal microbiota.
