Morfobiometria e análise de correlação em diásporos de Manilkara rufula (Miq). H.J.Lam
The aim was to characterize the morphobiometrics and the degree of association of the biometric variables of the diaspores of Manilkara rufula. The diaspores were collected from eight matrices in the Caatinga in Bahia. In the seed analysis laboratory of the UFRB, 100 fruits and 800 seeds were selected for measurements of length, width and diameter with a caliper and weight on a scale, and Pearson's linear correlation was determined. The external-internal morphology was characterized, 1000-weight of seeds and humidity were evaluated. For statistical, JASP® 0.18.1 was used. The fruit is fleshy, bacoid and monospermic with a generally red epicarp. The seed is elliptical, with a woody integument and yellowish-brown. The hypocotyl-radicle joins the cotyledonary blades light yellowish. Plumule is obovate, entire margin, rounded apex and truncated base. Humidity and 1000-weight of seeds, respectively, 11.8% and 272.79g. The diaspores present biometric strong and directly proportional correlation between weight and width.
