Exploring Magnetic Properties of Bi-Borophene (B36)2 Nanolattice Through Monte Carlo Simulations

This study explores the magnetic properties of bi-borophene [Formula: see text] nanostructures using Monte Carlo simulations. The system consists of two layers of borophene with mixed spins ([Formula: see text]/2 and [Formula: see text]), allowing for complex magnetic behavior. The [Formula: see text] structure was chosen for its energetic stability, hexagonal porous geometry, and growing relevance in electronics and spintronics. Ground state phase diagrams are established at zero temperature, and finite-temperature magnetic properties are analyzed by examining the effects of temperature, exchange coupling, and external magnetic and crystal fields on the blocking temperature. This approach enables access to a wider range of stable phases, providing deeper insight into the magnetism of 2D materials, particularly for potential applications in nanotechnology and spintronics.
