Collaborative Innovation
In the digital intelligence era, user innovation communities serve as vital online platforms for enterprises to achieve iterative innovation. This study examines how knowledge dissemination within these communities influences innovation performance, providing a theoretical basis for optimizing knowledge sharing. The knowledge dissemination is divided into two stages. In the primary stage, external users share knowledge, externalizing tacit insights. In the secondary stage, users and internal employees absorb this knowledge, generate new insights, and provide feedback to the original sources. Utilizing a theoretical model and empirical analysis of data from Xiaomi Community, the findings reveal that the breadth of knowledge dissemination positively impacts iterative innovation performance, while depth does not. Additionally, interactivity and feedback significantly enhance performance. This research offers management strategies for effective knowledge dissemination in user innovation communities, contributing to improved iterative innovation outcomes for enterprises.
