PENERAPAN METODE CERITA BERGAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA

This research is motivated by the low understanding of students on the material "Different is Beautiful" in the Pancasila Education subject and the lack of interest in learning due to the use of lecture methods that tend to be monotonous. The main objective of the research is to improve students' learning outcomes on the material through the application of the illustrated story method. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is implemented in two cycles, where each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research are students who have difficulty in understanding diversity. Data collection instruments include learning outcome tests and observation sheets. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The average learning outcome score increased from 74.77 in cycle I to 84.22 in cycle II. Furthermore, the percentage of student learning completion also experienced a substantial increase, from 29.63% in cycle I to 88.9% in cycle II. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the picture story method is effectively able to improve not only learning outcomes but also the enthusiasm of students in learning Pancasila Education regarding diversity. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi "Berbeda Itu Indah" dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila serta kurangnya minat belajar akibat penggunaan metode ceramah yang cenderung monoton. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi tersebut melalui penerapan metode cerita bergambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami keberagaman. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar peserta didik. Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar meningkat dari 74,77 pada siklus I menjadi 84,22 pada siklus II. Lebih lanjut, persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan substansial, dari 29,63% pada siklus I melonjak menjadi 88,9% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode cerita bergambar secara efektif mampu meningkatkan tidak hanya hasil belajar tetapi juga antusiasme peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila mengenai keberagaman.
