Statistical analysis of investment income: optimisation in the context of the digital economy in Ukraine
This article investigates the statistical analysis of investment inflows into Ukraine within the context of the digital economy and economic security. It seeks to pinpoint critical factors influencing investment activity, including corruption, the ongoing military conflict, and market monopolization, while using probabilistic modeling to assess investment scenarios. The study explores investment barriers, promising economic sectors, the effects of political and economic instability on investor choices, and the contribution of public-private partnerships to improving the investment climate. Emphasis is placed on macroeconomic conditions, growth outlooks, and the war’s impact on the business landscape. Ukraine’s recovery over the next decade will demand substantial funding, underscoring opportunities in housing, transport, energy, and agriculture. The research employs fuzzy cognitive analysis, Bayesian networks, time series, and regression analysis, utilizing data from national and international sources. It highlights foreign direct investment trends with a focus on industry, agriculture, and energy, alongside economic growth prospects amid inflationary pressures. The article offers evidence-based strategies to enhance Ukraine’s appeal as an investment destination, considering legislative reforms aligned with EU standards, while tackling ongoing challenges stemming from the conflict and systemic corruption.
