The authors consider the experience of the education system of Kazakhstan in the training of clinical pharmacists within the framework of the specialty "Pharmacy". International experience shows the place and role of a clinical pharmacologist in the scientific and educational field, as a scientist for the creation and clinical testing of new medicines, and a clinical pharmacist works directly with a doctor at the bedside, as a consultant on the choice of rational, effective and safe pharmacotherapy, as a professional in providing pharmaceutical care to patients outside the hospital.
