Socialization of personality in the context of tourism and recreation activities: theoretical aspect
The article reveals the theoretical aspects of personality socialization in the tourist and recreational activities of a social worker. In the context of our research, we consider socialization as a complex and multifaceted process that encompasses all aspects of personality formation, including both the assimilation of social experience and active participation in social life, contributing to the formation of individuality and integration into society. An analysis of the definitions of the concepts «tourism» and «recreation» has been carried out. It is determined that tourist and recreational activity is a type of specially organized activity that involves the provision of necessary tourist services to meet the needs of people in order to restore and improve the physical and spiritual components of the body, as well as their mental development, which affects the process of life. The importance of tourist and recreational activities in the work of social workers is explained by the fact that one of the areas of professional activity is cultural and leisure activities, which involves the organization of activities for children, youth, families, and youth organizations for the purpose of their recreation, health improvement, recreation, restoration of strength, acquisition of new knowledge and expansion of horizons. It is proven that the socialization of personality in the process of tourist and recreational activities depends on many factors, such as the type of activity, duration of travel, age of the person, their interests and personal qualities. Thus, the specifics of tourist and recreational activities of social workers are determined by factors (the category of people it is aimed at; people's needs; goals that this activity involves, as well as duration) that affect the process of it іs organization. Since the scope of professional activity of a social worker is quite diverse, the need for tourist and recreational activities will be determined by the needs of those categories of people with whom the specialist will interact.
