O uso da lousa interativa como forma de aumentar o interesse dos alunos pela aula de Língua Portuguesa
This article aimed to validate the relationship between Portuguese language teaching and technology, showing that this relationship can be beneficial. For a long time, there was a false idea in common sense that if technology was present in the educational environment, students would stop reading and, consequently, there would be a drop in educational levels. What was observed, however, was that these two areas (language and technology) can complement each other to increase students' interest in teaching our mother tongue. To this end, qualitative research was carried out. Regarding the technical procedure, the case study was adopted. This research was carried out by observing a Portuguese language class in the sixth year of elementary school in a public school in the municipality of Gravataí. In 2024, the school was awarded interactive whiteboards by the city council. Thus, it was analyzed and described how the use of this tool changed classes and made them more attractive for students.
