Objective: To analyze the correlation between hospital admission rates and IFDM, Employment & Income, Health, GDP per capita, Gini index, population without water, population without waste collection and demographic density in the health regions of Tocantins. Methodology: The work consists of a quantitative statistical research, retrospective, of documentary character, through data from public sites, which aims to analyze through the extraction of information, focusing on regional socioeconomic aspects through a correlation with hospital admission data from the health regions of the state of Tocantins. Results: Based on the results, moderate correlations were identified between the variables of hospital admissions and GDP per capita (r=0.5199), hospital admissions and Employment & Income (r=0.3939) and hospital admissions and IFDM (r=0.3365). Conclusion: Based on the application of the Pe-Arson correlation, it can be concluded that GDP per capita is the most closely related to hospitalization rates.
