IMPACTOS DA ECONOMIA NAS RELAÇÕES DE TRABALHO: ANÁLISE DAS NOVAS FORMAS DE TRABALHO MEDIADAS POR PLATAFORMAS DIGITAIS E OS DESAFIOS JURÍDICOS PARA A REGULAÇÃO DESSES TRABALHADORES
Digital platforms have facilitated business continuity and flexibility for workers, but they have also raised issues related to workplace safety, inequality, and the need for new regulations. The post-pandemic scenario requires adaptations in policies and management practices to ensure a sustainable future. However, the new work model has generated discussions about labor rights, social security, and the relevance of existing laws, especially given the vulnerability of workers in relation to the lack of formalized contracts and intermediation. The study focuses on the analysis of how new forms of work mediated by digital platforms impact labor relations and the legal challenges of regulating this type of work. The flexibility provided by these platforms, although attractive, also results in precariousness and insecurity for workers, with difficulties in organizing unions and guaranteeing labor rights. The general objective of the study is to analyze the economic and social impacts of new forms of work mediated by digital platforms and the main legal challenges for their regulation. The methodology used will be bibliographic research, with a descriptive quantitative approach, analyzing sources such as books, academic articles, and reports. The study's conclusion will highlight the urgent need to update labor legislation to encompass new forms of work and protect digital platform workers, promoting a balance between flexibility and security.
