The comparative Study was undertaken at Department of Otorhinolaryngology from may 2024 to september 2024 . The aim of this study was To Compare The Efficacies Of Endoscopic And Microscopic Ear Surgery In Patients With Active Squamosal Type Of Chronic Otitis Media. All the patients attending ENT OPD within the age group of 11-60 years, irrespective of sex with atticoantral CSOM either unilateral or bilateral were included in this study. In our study of 60 patients, 40 patients had graft uptake after disease clearance and 8 had failure of graft uptake without chronicotorrhoea and 2 had failure with chronic otorrhoea. Through this study we concluded that Endoscopic and microscopic Tympano-mastoidectomy for atticoantral type of CSOM is an excellent techniquefor complete removal of disease especially from inaccessible areas of middle ear cleft.
