Roll-Out of the NFDI4health Local Data Hubs for Medical Research Data Management
The NFDI4Health (National Research Data Infrastructure for Personal Health Data) develops Local Data Hubs (LDHs), which allow data-holding organizations to use both a research data management platform and a connection to the central study registers of NFDI4Health. We describe our approach to rolling out a broad test of the LDH for different DHO types - from university clinics to clinical trial centers. The aim is to exchange the NFDI4Health standardized study metadata and to promote the idea of data sharing in general. We report on the application process and the first results with this approach.
