Investigation of Anticancer and Antioxidant Activity of Novel Isoxazolines Prepared From 6-Chloropyridine-3-Carabaldehyde
Isoxazolines are an essential group of nitrogen and oxygen-containing heterocycles comprising the azole class that have grown in relevance in the field of therapeutic chemistry as anticancer medicines. They are relatively stable, enabling medicinal experts to experiment with the ring's composition in a variety of ways to create a wide range of pharmaceutical effects. Various medicinal drugs on the market include isoxazoline rings. 2-isoxazolines derivatives were produced by reaction of chalcones with hydroxylamine hydrochloride. Chalcones were produced by treating different substituted acetophenones with 2-chloro-5-pyridine carbaldehyde employing the Claisen-Schmidt condensation technique. New isoxazoline compounds (4a-4j) were studied using 1H NMR,13C NMR, Mass, IR, and melting points. All synthesized isoxazolines were evaluated for their carcinogenic and antioxidant characteristics. The in vitro anticancer ability was assessed against a female breast cancer cell line MCF-7, and the antioxidant efficacy was assessed using the DPPH radical detoxification method. The antitumor examination revealed that the synthetic compounds 4f and 4g have showed good activity against breast cancer cell line MCF-7. All the Compounds (4a-4j) exhibited high antioxidant capacity. The in silico ADME investigation of the synthesized compounds (4a-4j) demonstrated that they are highly effective as oral medications.
