A naphthalimide-derived chemosensor for ratiometric detection of sulphide ions: insights into the S2−-driven reduction cascade, real-time applications and live cell imaging of bacterial cells
The naphthalimide-based fluorescent probe shows a clear “Turn-ON” response to S 2− with visible color change and strong emission at 530 nm, enabling sensitive, rapid detection in real water and serum samples, suitable for practical applications.
