A Simulation Approach to Investigate the Interaction of Digital Currency Mining Farms and Greenhouse Crop Production
As we know, high-energy cryptocurrency mining has grown rapidly, and this rapid growth rate can raise many concerns about environmental impacts, greenhouse gases, and energy consumption. It can be seen that there are challenges in the field of agriculture as well, such as promoting sustainability and improving the production performance of greenhouse products, so in this article, a new approach based on simulation for the integration of digital currency mining and planting and harvesting systems of greenhouse products is presented. In this research, an attempt has been made to pay more attention to the interactions between the energy dynamics of digital currency extraction and climate characteristics in the production of greenhouse products. Among the influential factors in this field, we can mention things like greenhouse climate optimization, types of products and environmental conditions. The results will show that the integration of greenhouse systems can be very effective and practical in reducing energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and costs, so this work can provide an interesting and new perspective in the form of hybrid solutions to maximize environmental and economic benefits.
