Evaluation of Switch Mode Amplifiers for Low-Field MRI

This paper examines a switch mode amplifier and compares it to a linear amplifier in a low-field MRI system. Results show that digital amplifiers provide comparable receive signal qualities and are suitable for MRI applications, with minimal differences in SNR, but emphasize the general applicability in low-field MRI applications.

Abstract

This paper examines a switch mode amplifier and compares it to a linear amplifier in a low-field MRI system. Results show that digital amplifiers provide comparable receive signal qualities and are suitable for MRI applications, with minimal differences in SNR, but emphasize the general applicability in low-field MRI applications.
