A Model Based on Optimization for Agricultural Operations Using a Wind Turbine and Battery Storage System
Power systems are essential for operators to enhance efficiency and accommodate the increasing integration of renewable energy sources (RES). Still, renewable energy sources are erratic and unreliable, with demand fluctuations and nonlinear constraints intensified by these challenges. This study introduces a methodology for optimizing the control of production and carbon emissions costs in conventional power plants by include battery energy storage technologies and wind turbines. This improvement takes into account the prices connected to carbon emissions and the expenditures connected with traditional units relying on fossil fuels. The simulation has five traditional generating sources and Agriculture load consumers, with findings indicating a substantial improvement in the capability and efficacy of power plant production schedule optimization due to the revised problem formulation.
