Harnessing Solar Energy: Advancements in Electrolysis and Photocatalysis Technologies

This article will bring forth the use of solar technologies in improving water electrolysis and hydrogen production. Electrolysers are one of the most essential devices in energy transition since they store renewable energy sources–in particular, wind and solar–in hydrogen form. Hydrogen is a clean fuel with versatile applications in transportation, heating, and electricity generation. Solar hydrogen panels use solar energy for the electrolysis of water, whereby great development lies in renewable energy and less dependence on fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions. Continued research is demanding scale-up and improvements in the performance of solar hydrogen technologies to realize a sustainable energy future.
