Study and design of antenna based on a strip line with variable wave impedance

In paper, the results of design of new construction of linear polarization antenna, based on an asymmetric stripe line are presented. It is shown, that the design of antenna in the concept of automation of technological processes and modern production is becoming the one of the key elements to ensure the effective communication between devices. A method for determining the geometry of an antenna with a periodic change in wave impedance is presented, and based on it a mathematical model is obtained that allows setting the geometry for electrodynamic modeling. Using the method of electrodynamic modeling, the proposed design of antenna was studied and both radiation characteristics and input characteristics in the frequency range were obtained. The possibility of implementing antennas with a tilting of the maximum of the radiation pattern from the normal to the structure plane is justified.
