Acute Acanthamoeba panophthalmitis following intravitreal drug injection
Acanthamoeba panophthalmitis is a rare disease that is difficult to diagnose. In most cases of Acanthamoeba eye infection, the cornea is primarily affected. We report a case of post-procedural Acanthamoeba panophthalmitis after intravitreal injection of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF).
