Can you please help me draw a vibrator?

Sexuality education introduces several topics that can cause embarrassment and discomfort. One of the most sensitive is sexual pleasure, which has the potential to make the teaching more engaging while risking jeopardizing the integrity and professionalism of the teacher. The article discusses this challenge by analyzing a field study at a Danish school at lower secondary levels. Over four days, I observed a pleasure workshop that made me question whether it is possible to keep a professional distance from the students when teaching about sex and pleasure, as it tends to cross boundaries between the public, personal, and private spheres of life. To unfold my reflections about the difficulties and benefits of including pleasure in sexuality education, I present two conversations I had with students about vibrators. These conversations will be analyzed by applying a psychoanalytic conception of sexuality.
