A Systematic Framework for Sensory-Expressive Interfaces (SEI) in Human-Machine Interaction
This research introduces Sensory-Expressive Interfaces (SEI) which serve as the basic connection between human thinking processes and digital systems. SEIs contain biological interaction methods such as sight, hearing and speech which have historically been used to facilitate human-machine communication. Traditional SEIs have lost their dominance to Cognitive Communication Layers (CCLs) which use brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) to transform thinking and intentional concepts into the primary method of interaction. The research examines organic SEIs (oSEIs) development into intelligent SEIs (iSEIs) before it forecasts a future where humans unite with machines through cyborgs and AI-borgs within one cognitive environment. The framework delivers scientific as well as technological and philosophical foundations to explain both the transition to this future and the practical methods of human-machine symbiosis achievement.
